Teens Paint a Nautilus Fossil- Watercolors with Susan Bartel In-Person
Teens will paint a Nautilus Fossil! Check out the example photograph to see how awesome your project will look. Registration is required, as spots are limited. Online registration opens May 18.
According to Britannica Encyclopædia:
Nautiluses are mollusks, sea animals with a soft body. Pearly, or chambered, nautiluses are the only true nautiluses...They are relatives of animals that appeared at least 450 million years ago. For that reason nautiluses are often called living fossils. Another mollusk, the paper nautilus, is not a proper nautilus and is closely related to the octopus. (Britannica Library)
Instructor:
Susan Bartel is a watercolor artist. She uses just 3 primary colors to paint all of her paintings and enjoys sharing the joy of painting with watercolor. She likes to paint flowers, plants and landscapes, but also the occasional fossil. Susan displays her art at Carriage Factory Art Gallery, 128 East Sixth Street in Newton.
