Spring Training for Gardeners In-Person / Online
Join local food producers and gardeners for our fifth annual "spring training" – an evening of tips, tricks, and information sharing in anticipation of spring! Presented by Newton Public Library and Newton Farm & Art Market.
Topics will include:
- A panel discussion on urban farming and modern homesteading
- Using small, antique tractors for large gardens and homestead maintenance
- Reno County Extension agent Patrick Bergkamp on keeping backyard chickens
