Early Reader Book Club (Grades K-1) In-Person

Early Reader Book Club is designed to help foster a love of reading in children in grades K-1. The club meets each month during the school year, and is built around a favorite picture book, which children will be able to take home. Well start by reading the book together (children need not be able to read), discussing the book, and following up with fun, book-themed activities.

Registration is required.  To accommodate more children, we offer two sections of the Early Reader Book Club.  Participants register for only one session per month, as it's the same book and activity in both sessions:

  • Every first Thursday of the month, 4-5 PM, OR
  • Every second Monday of the month, 4-5 PM (except in September, when it will start on the third Monday, September 15)  

When you register in September, your child will be registered for September-December.
