Teen Indigo Dye Event W/ Sara Rickard In-Person
Learn how to tie-dye in the shibori (Japanese tie-dye) style with indigo dye! We will give out drawstring cotton bags to everyone who registers, then tie-dyeing them. Supplies permitting, we'll have time to tie-dye other item with the leftover dye, so feel free to bring a white t-shirt, pillowcase or other item. (White, pre-washed cotton works best). Join Maggie Hairabedian (NPL Teen Librarian) and Sara Rickard (NPL Children Services Coordinator) for this fun event!
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Ages 10-14. Please dress in clothing you don’t mind getting stained, as this is permanent dye.
