Rainbow Art Explorations with Ms. Sara: Indigo Week! (grades K-4 with adult caregiver) In-Person
Rainbow Art Explorations offers children a chance to "Color Our World" through different artistic mediums. During Indigo Week, children and their caregivers will learn how to tie-dye in the shibori (Japanese tie-dye) style with indigo dye.
We will give out drawstring cotton bags to everyone who registers, then tie-dyeing them. Supplies permitting, we'll have time to tie-dye other item with the leftover dye, so feel free to bring a white t-shirt, pillowcase or other item. (White, pre-washed cotton works best).
REGISTRATION REQUIRED only for children who will be dyeing a bag. Children must be accompanied by an adult to help with tie-dyeing process.
Please dress in clothing you don’t mind getting stained, as this is permanent dye.
