Rainbow Art Explorations with Geli Chavez (grades K-2): Violet Week! In-Person

Rainbow Art Explorations offers children a chance to "Color Our World" through different artistic mediums.  During Violet Week, enjoy some "sun and sand!"  Artists will explore the color violet through printmaking techniques: cyanotype sun prints and monotypes on sandpaper.  This session is facilitated by Geli Chavez, artist and Program Coordinator at Arts Partners Wichita. 

This class is limited to children who have completed grades K-2.  REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

Participants will be invited to contribute their creation to our Rainbow Art Gallery, which will be open to the public during the Newton Art Walk on Thursday, July 17, 6-8 PM.
